Specifications include, but are not limited to: Furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, travel, consumables, testing, freight, and documentation required to provide a plan for, and the replacement of the Fort Okanogan Interpretive Center Breezeway. Contractor is responsible for ALL cleanups. The breezeway is aabout 70 feet long and about 12 feet wide. The breezeway extends from, and is attached to, the main building and the public restrooms. Power runs across the breezeway to 4 lights, and into the public restrooms. What remains of the current breezeway has to be removed and replace it with a simpler design. We want a very low pitched, single slope, metal shed style roof, 4:12 pitch (about a 18.5 degree slope), with a 0.024” (which is also 24 gauge) aluminum corrugated sheets. Need to replace wood posts with metal poles. The bases of the poles have to be finished with something other than wood (for example, river cobbles encased in rebar). Power will still need to be run to the public restrooms. Must meet or exceed the 2015 International Building Codes and Washington State Electrical. Fort Okanogan Interpretive Center is a historic property important to the community and included in the National Register of Historic Places. Work must reflect the historic integrity of the structure.
