Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Obtain an understanding Community Transit and the Director of Planning and Development Job: 1. Vendor to interview the CEO and key stakeholders identified by the CEO to gain better insight into the Director of Planning and Development position, its essential functions, challenges, minimum qualifications, and needed knowledge, skills and characteristics at entry into the position. 2. Vendor will create a position profile to present to candidates that includes background about Community Transit, what our Agency goals are and what our workplace culture is like. 3. Vendor to outline the position, benefits and opportunities associated with working at Community Transit. 4. Vendor to develop a timeline to conduct the recruitment, candidate screening and candidate selection and submit it for approval to the CEO. 5. Vendor to propose process to meet all the elements of the scope of work. B. Conduct recruitment: 1. Vendor to create a multifaceted marketing/sourcing strategy to identify and attract a pool qualified candidates to the position. 2. Vendor shall be responsible to pay for all advertising. 3. Vendor to coordinate with Human Resources staff to have the job posted on the Community Transit website, target publications in appropriate magazines, journals, newsletters, job bulletins, social media and websites to attract candidates on a nationwide, regional, local and other transit oriented associations websites. 4. Vendor to contact candidates and determine if they are qualified for further consideration.
