Norfolk Public School (NPS) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather information from the vendor community to identify potential offerors of Volunteer Application Software. NPS seeks to implement a web-based platform to manage and store applications and perform background checks to identify potential volunteers for the district. Essential features of the program shall include: All-Inclusive Volunteer Application AND Background Check Reporting Tools Sorting Feature (i.e. based on interest, location, etc) Ability to do tier-level background checks, depending on need Levels of Background Check Address History Multi-County Search (7 year search) Criminal Record Database Sex Offender Registry Alias Search 1-2 Central Administrators AND Managerial Access (per school) Capability to Send Mass Notifications to Communicate the following, but not limited to Request for Volunteers, Updates to Existing Volunteers, Events No approval without NPS confirmation
