Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, arrow boards, crash cushions, portable temporary rumble strips, message boards, communication devices, tools, cones, barrels, signs, sign stands, materials, supplies, and all incidentals as necessary to successfully perform traffic control services on an on-call, as needed basis. 2. Traffic control services shall include, but not be limited to, lane closures or shoulder closures used in conjunction with work performed by various VDOT crews or other VDOT contractors, or in response to emergencies/highway incidents, as needed. The Contractor shall work with the Contract Administrator, or designee, to perform various traffic control configurations for roadway maintenance, incident response, bridge inspection, and other activities that may arise. 3. “A-La-Carte” Traffic Control: The Contractor shall provide “A-La-Carte” traffic control services to augment typical configurations or to deploy custom arrangements for special operations. 4. All traffic control shall conform to the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Device Standards (MUTCD), the 2011 or latest edition of Virginia Work Area Protection Manual (VWAPM), and VDOT IIM-TE-386.1.
