Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is the procurement of a replacement, cost‐effective telephone solution for the multiple building campus of Henry County Administration. It is the intent of Henry County to contract with a single, qualified vendor (no vendor is allowed to use a sub‐contractor) with the purposes of acquiring and making fully operational all new systems and peripheral hardware/station devices with all software options and capabilities that this RFP’s detailed specification identify and require. The primary goals of replacing the current telephone platform system are as follows: Providing a modern, serviceable solution that enables telephone service to our approximately 450‐endpoints in a digital/VoIP hybrid solution. Providing a resilient communications network with high fault‐tolerance, capable of rapid restoration and redeployment in the event of a disaster. Investing in a VoIP communications system upgrade that is scalable to grow with Henry County well into the future. Providing a telephony system that has the capability to service remote locations with the same features and functionality as the main location. Reducing monthly telephony charges by utilizing SIP technology.
