Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Loudoun, Virginia (County), is soliciting bids from qualified nutrient banks for the purchase of approximately 2.81 pounds of phosphorous credits. The credits will provide compensatory mitigation for the proposed impacts of Public Safety Firing Range Facility in Leesburg, Virginia. The impacts are located within the Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) identified in the chart below and are associated with Public Safety Firing Range Facility Capital Project to be constructed by the County of Loudoun as part of the County’s Capital Improvements Program. The exact number of nutrient credits purchased will be at the sole discretion of the County based on the nutrient mitigation requirements established by the County of Loudoun during its site plan approval process and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
