Specifications include, but are not limited to: ONLINE LANGUAGE DATABASE/18-29 DATABASE DESCRIPTION: 1. Provide a description of the database. The database shall allow English speakers to learn foreign languages and foreign language speakers to learn English. 2.Include a timeline of any upgrades and improvements to the database and any costs associated. 3. Describe the auditory and visual aspects of the databases. 4. Describe the techniques for learning – review, practice, tests, etc. 5.The Offeror should be able to provide a trial period so that the library staff can review the product. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1.The Offeror should describe the method of access to the database; i.e. web-based application, desktop software, etc. 2.The Offeror shall provide a list of Internet browsers supported by the product 3.The Offeror shall describe technical support available to staff and patrons. 4.The product must be available within the libraries (8 branches) without a library card log-in. 5.The product must be available via remote access using a library card. 6.The product must be easy to install and use immediately for both on and off-site patrons without downloads. 7.The Offeror should supply instructions for easy-to-access usage statistics. 8. The Offeror should provide an app for mobile use of the database. TECHNICAL SUPPORT: 1.The Contractor should provide technical support for the database Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
