Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Norfolk (the “City”) invites proposals from Insurance Brokers for marketing, claims assistance and advisory services related to property and casualty insurance policies. The City desires to maintain insurance policies that protect the City from the financial impacts of: 1. Larger losses to the City’s property and infrastructure, fine arts, and valuable papers, as well as potential business interruption and extra expense costs that might arise from the City’s loss exposures, 2. Losses from legal liability claims and suits, 3. Cyber-related first and third-party losses, as well as breaches of sensitive data in all formats (digital, paper, etc.) maintained by the City, and 4. Contingent losses resulting from events such as loss of attraction, malicious acts, as well as climatic and natural events.
