Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work should restore color, safety and speed to the slides: 1. Wax and Caulk Treatment a. Pressure wash, clean, and prep slides b. Cut out existing caulk, clean and re-caulk joints c. Wax and buff slides d. Provide owner with instructions for proper care of slides 2. Gelcoat and Caulk Treatment a. Pressure wash, clean, and prep slides b. Cut out existing caulk, clean and re-caulk joints c. Clean, sand, repair, prep and gelcoat slides d. Clean, repair and finish any cracks e. Provide owner with instructions for proper care of slides 3. Exterior Paint Treatment a. Pressure wash, clean and prep slide exterior b. Apply commercial grade UV resistant paint c. Provide owner with instructions for proper care of slides ; i. High Oxidation Marine Wax (3M fiberglass wax or equivalent) ii. UV and Chlorine Resistant Paint iii. White waterslide caulk such as Sikaflex or other acceptable brand applied to a minimum thickness of .018inch iv. Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) Solvent v. Spray Gelcoat applied to a minimum thickness of .375mm with a heavier emphasis on riding surface.
