Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The contractor shall accept asphalt, concrete, waste dirt/soil, stumps, brush, trash, tires. The contractor’s landfill or recycling center shall be operated in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, regulations, standards and ordinances. 2. All materials will be hauled to the contractor’s facility in VDOT trucks or VDOT hired trucks. 3. The contractor’s facility shall be located within the following counties and or cities of: Amelia, Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, Nottoway, Powhatan and Prince George and City of Colonial Heights and City of Petersburg. 4. Each load received shall have a printed ticket indicating the weight, origin of load, signature of VDOT or VDOT hired truck driver, truck number and date. 5. The unit price per load shall include environmental fee, equipment fee, fuel and any additional costs associated with providing this service. No additional charges will be allowed. 6. Once material is deposited at the contractor’s site, it shall become the property of the contractor.
