Specifications include, but are not limited to: A.Provide all labor, materials, equipment, labor, and transportation required to perform work requested relative to network, telecommunications and video cabling at City-occupied facilities. The final product shall represent a total end-to-end solution for all connections specified by the City for the complete channel link/run. B.Provide consulting on cable installation design and make recommendation(s) on hardware products. C.Review any product recommendations or installations with the City’s Information Technology Department to ensure the product interfaces with existing City systems and meets existing City Standards. D.Consult with the designated Department of Information Technology administrator to finalize voice/data/video drops and equipment locations on floor plans at no additional charge. E.Validation/Certification of cable after installation is required. F.Ensure that the scope of work is complete. The contractor cannot be paid for omitted work items. G.Other items that should be addressed, as appropriate, include but are not limited to repair response time, contractor certifications-license requirements, workmanship, repair and maintenance records, working hours, overtime, City-furnished materials, etc.
