Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Shelters will be cleaned at a minimum of once per week. The definition of cleaned in this case means that all garbage in and around (within a 5ft radius of) the stop will be picked up and disposed of properly. Any and all insect nests or hives will be disposed of. b. WATA may request additional cleanings as necessary and will be charged the standard fee per cleaning. c. Removal of all dirt markings, streaks, adhesive residue from shelters, benches, trash cans, and (Plexiglas) panels. Any materials or cleaning products used by the vendor may not damage or discolor any structure or amenity owned or serviced by WATA. d. Cleaning and/or repair of the panels, benches, and bike rack (if one is present). e. Shelters will be power washed of a minimum of two (2) occurrences annually. The dates of these will be set by WATA during the contract phase. f. Remove graffiti and decals (non-WATA). g. De-ice shelter pad area prior to pending inclement weather (including ice or snow) and/or removal of snow and de-ice shelter pad area. Contractor must ensure a clean a walkway from shelter to curb. Contractor will notify WATA at least 24 hours prior to the performance of this work for approval. For snow removal, work must be performed no more than 12 hours after accumulated snowfall of two (2) inches or more.
