Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of services includes construction inspection, construction management, administration services and managerial oversight for the City’s water utility infrastructure projects. The projects may include, but are not limited to, raw water reservoirs, dams, pump stations and transmission mains, water treatment facilities and drinking water transmission mains. These services are intended to assist the City in administering construction, monitoring the performance of the construction, verifying that the construction work is in substantial compliance with contract documents, and responding to events that occur during construction. Construction management and professional services under this agreement may include, but are not limited to: A. Assign a qualified inspector to perform on-site inspection services on a full time or part time basis as directed by the City. B. Conduct pre-construction inspection and condition assessment of the project site. Take preconstruction photos and record observations. C. Create, update and maintain an emergency contact list as related to each project. D. Assist in conducting preconstruction meeting, prepare agenda and distribute meeting minutes. E. Assist the City with review of contractor’s requests for information and proposals. Maintain file of requests and responses for reference. F. Assist the City with review of contractor’s submittals, samples and review comments. Maintain file with full sets of these documents. G. Maintain a record of formal correspondence associated with each project. H. Prepare daily reports recording construction activities for each workday including photographs of work progress and issues as needed. Submit these reports to the City on a weekly basis. I. Review contractor’s monthly payment application and make recommendation to the City for payment.
