Specifications include, but are not limited to: Proposals should include a single tipping fee covering both MSW delivered by the County and MSW delivered by the private company that will provide MSW pickup from businesses and residences in the County. In addition, the County would ask that proposals identify whether the disposal facility will allow individual County residents to dispose of MSW, construction debris or other materials at the disposal facility upon proof that they are County residents, and what the charge would be for such residents. For fiscal year 2017, the combination of the MSW delivered to the Atlantic Waste landfill from the County convenience centers and county vehicles, and from the private contractors for which the County agreed to pay the disposal costs, totaled 3,664.7 tons. This Request for Proposals is for disposal services only, and does not include MSW collection or transportation of the MSW to the disposal facility.
