Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor shall be certified by the National Association for Information Destruction, Inc. 2. All contractor employees working on site must have in their possession and visibly display at all times a company issued badge. 3. The Contractor shall furnish and install twelve (12), 36 inch lockable office quality security top load consoles for the collection of items including, but not limited to, paper, CD's, and tapes to be shredded at the following: Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center 1601 Broad Rock Boulevard Richmond, Virginia 23224 Contractor shall coordinate delivery with Contract Administrator to deliver, unload and set up consoles at the designated locations, provide keys for consoles and remove all debris/packaging from the premises and dispose of at an approved landfill. 4. Contractor shall inspect consoles at each monthly visit and replace immediately (with keys) at the Contract Administrator's request. 5. Contractor shall empty consoles between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. every other week (day of the week TBD). Note: Bags/containers shall not be exchanged or switched out unless damaged. In the event of inclement weather, the contractor shall contact the Contract Administrator and reschedule service. 6. Provide a bonded and insured technician to shred the confidential documents/materials. Shredding shall be performed using the crosscut method certified and approved for use by law enforcement, government and military organizations”. Shredded materials shall be recycled and an annual certification on environmental contribution shall be provided to the Contract Administrator. 7. Provide the Contract Administrator with a service ticket and certificate of destruction upon completion of each on site shredding service. The service ticket and the certificate of destruction shall be legibly signed by the technician and the Contract Administrator.
