Re-landscaping and Tree Removal of CE Plaza on Annandale Campus Remove all trees/stumps and landscaping from the two (2) landscape beds on the east and west sides of the entrance to the Ernst Community Cultural Center (CE Building) except for the three (3) Japanese Maples in the east side bed. See attached map of the building location with the Plaza area circled in red. Install the trees, shrubs, perennials, mulch, topsoil, additives, fertilizers and tilling as specified in the attached landscape design. All mulch shall be leveled to create an aesthetic look. If plants are pulled, beds, from which they are removed, must be leveled with soil and weed barrier fabric must be repaired to prevent weed growth. All work performed in accordance with the American Association of Nurserymen (AAN) Standards: Nursery stock standards of AAN and published as A.N.S.I. Z60.1. The contractor is required to have utilities located within the landscape beds. Utility locators shall include Miss Utilities and a private utility locator. Electric lines for the light bollards and piping for an irrigation system are known to be present in these beds but their exact locations are unknown. All marked utility lines must have test holes dug by hand to physically locate the lines to ensure their exact location and depth. Contractor will be responsible for the repair of any utility lines broken during this project. Contractor guarantees that all plants are delivered alive and healthy for one (1) year from date of delivery. Contractor shall replace at their expense, any dead trees and any trees, that in the opinion of the NVCC have become unhealthy or unsightly due to Contractor's negligence
