Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this Invitation for Bids is to establish one or more term contracts to provide shredding services for secure off-site confidential paper and plastic document destruction to some 65 DMV locations throughout Virginia. DMV reserves the right to add or delete locations as necessary. 1. The Contractor shall furnish all transportation, labor, supervision, equipment, tools and materials as necessary to provide secure off-site shredding/destruction services of DMV confidential paper and plastic materials on a bi-monthly basis as specified herein. Pricing shall be all inclusive, additional fuel and/or transportation surcharges shall not be applied to invoices. All services and equipment provided under this contract shall be in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Virginia Occupational Safety & Health (VOSH) regulations. Optionally, the Contractor may also provide on-site shredding if requested by the Contract Administrator. The on-site shredding shall be charged separately as outlined in the Optional Pricing Schedule. 2. Contractor shall be certified by the National Association for Information Destruction, Inc. (NAID) AAA Certified and maintain the certification without interruption throughout the entire term of the contract. A copy of the certification shall be provided with the bid and within 2 business days of request by DMV at any time during the term of the contract. 3. Contractor shall coordinate delivery of services with each Contract Administrator to deliver, unload and set up containers for the collection of materials to be shredded, from DMV Customer Service Centers at various locations statewide. 4. Shredding may be witnessed by one or more DMV representatives at DMV’s sole discretion. 5. Contractor shall provide lockable 64 - 96 gallon barrel type containers to CSC locations with 2 sets of keys per container, for DMV use. The cost for the containers shall be included in the monthly pickup cost. The quantities of containers per location are listed in Attachment E.
