Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Coordinate all work with Chesterfield County Public Schools (herein referred to as “CCPS”. b. Obtain trade permit(s) where required. c. Lock and tag out electrical for the Rooftop Air Handling Unit (RTU) d. Recover the refrigerant from the existing RTU’s. (CCPS may wish to keep the refrigerant. Contractor to coordinate with CCPS Project Manager. e. Legally dispose of the refrigerant in existing unit(s) per EPA guidelines (If CCPS does not wish to keep it, see “d.” above). f. Disconnect control wires. g. Provide crane and rigging equipment to remove the existing unit(s) and set new unit(s). h. Remove the existing RTU from the site. i. Replace existing refrigerant piping with all new refrigerant piping. j. Install new filter core dryers. k. Pressure test new refrigerant lines.
