Confined space protocols • 44 gate valves and 33 fire hydrants • 304 accounts a. Provide a part time certified water system operator and certified backup operator. Provide personnel qualified to perform all technical, sampling and administrative/management duties to satisfy regulatory requirements and to provide O&M services in a responsible professional manner per WSR Chapter l2.2. b. A certified water operator will be on call 24/7. c. Ensure regulatory compliance, including preparation and submission of allrequired documents, water quality information, and water quality sampling and test reports to the State of Vermont Drinking Water & Groundwater Protection Division d. Provide annual Consumer Confidence Reports to the Town in advance of the July 1, deadline. e. Provide operation and maintenance services as required to operate the water system in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and based on the design capabilities of the equipment and processes. f. Perform scheduled operation and maintenance checks of the water system equipment and infrastructure, g. Manage the provision for all utilities and consumables such as fuels, chemicals, power, supplies and lubricants required for normal operation and maintenance of the system. These cost items would be a billable expense and the Town may choose to pay some of these costs directly. h. Advise the Town regarding an inventory of spare parts, materials and chemicals on site to perform routine and normal repairs and maintenance. Material costs are reimbursable or paid directly by the Town, as authorized.
