Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vermont Department for Children and Families, Family Services Division, (hereinafter called DCF) is seeking to establish service agreements with an entity that can provide Woodside de-escalation and restraint system consultation services. The Department for Children and Families, Family Services Division (DCF) is currently seeking a Contractor to formally assess Woodside’s current policy and practice on de-escalation, restraint, and seclusion, in relation to national best standards for the care of youth with a significant history of trauma. Woodside serves youth ages 10 to 17 who: • Are in DCF custody; • Have delinquency charges or adjudications; • Exhibit harmful behaviors towards themselves or others; or • Require significant treatment intervention.
