Specifications include, but are not limited to: Sampling will be conducted on an approximately biweekly schedule, with additional samples taken during significant storm or snowmelt events. The contractor will adhere to standard sampling and field processing procedures, high-flow sampling triggers, and safety precautions as described by the State ; Parameters to be sampled include total phosphorus, total dissolved phosphorus, and suspended sediment. All necessary equipment, containers, supplies and forms will be provided by the State. The contractor will provide transportation to the sites and transportation of the samples to a mutually agreedupon drop-off and storage location. The contractor will be responsible for sample labeling and documentation as prescribed by the State. The State will be responsible for pick-up and transport to the Vermont Agriculture and Environmental Laboratory for analysis. ; Sampling will be conducted year-round, but primarily during the ice-free months. In recent years, there have been between 15 and 25 biweekly samplings, and an additional 20 – 25 significant snow or rain events.
