Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snow plowing services are requested for roadways, parking areas, and/or boat launches at the following State Parks: 1. Kill Kare State Park, 2714 Hathaway Point Road, St. Albans a. Starting before entrance gate, down entrance road, turning right past the contact station, plowing the length and width of parking area down to the boat launch on the North side (see map). 2. Lake Carmi State Park, 460 Marsh Farm Road, Enosburg Falls a. Entire entrance road (Marsh Farm Road) from entrance on VT-236 down to the boat launch, including entire boat launch parking area. Also includes the service area road (see map). Plowing at this location is to be completed by 7:00am. 3. Sandbar State Park, 1215 US Route 2, Milton a. From entrance on Route 2, the entire length of the main parking area, down to the boat launch and turnaround at the end (see map). 4. Niquette Bay State Park, 274 Raymond Road, Colchester a. Entire road, starting at entrance on Raymond road, including parking area and turnaround by ranger house, and parking areas around the circle by the trailhead (see map). The contractor shall supply all transportation, equipment, labor, and materials necessary to provide plowing, salting, and sanding services. Before the first snow, the contractor is required to visit the site, identify and properly mark any property that could be damaged by a plow after covered by snow. The contractor shall begin plowing promptly after either: 1. Snow accumulation reaches 4 inches during daylight (for Sandbar State Park, Niquette Bay State Park and Kill Kare State Park); or before 7:00am (Lake Carmi State Park) 2. Being notified by FPR of unsafe conditions caused by winter precipitation where accumulation may be less than 4 inches The contractor shall begin salting or sanding promptly after notification by FPR.
