Specifications include, but are not limited to: To remove excess silt and gravel that has settled in and around the boat ramp and dock by dredging the area. Erosion control stone will be placed along side of the ramp to help reduce erosion from waves. The area to be dredged or filled with stone must be enclosed with a silt curtain and all state and federal permits strictly adhered to. While this work is being done, the bituminous approach ramp will be replaced as well as its current state is in disrepair. ;The project involves the installation of a geo-textile filter curtain around the area to be excavated. Excavation will occur with the use of a medium-duty tracked excavator in order to remove lake bottom sediment (boat prop wash berm). A silt curtain will be installed in the lake around the work area (including the courtesy dock), extending from the surface to the bottom and will be secured to the lake bottom, and reinforced as necessary against impact from wind or wave current .
