Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Office of Purchasing & Contracting (hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish retainer contracts with Contractors that can provide electric vehicle (EV) charging services to increase availability of electric vehicle charging equipment on state properties. Contractors meeting the qualification requirements described in this RFP may receive a retainer contract to be utilized by the State as projects arise. These installations may serve multiple purposes, including facilitating the electrification of the state fleet, providing workplace charging for state employees and offering charging services to the general public. Furnish and install all necessary material, including but not limited to, charging stations, electrical service, transformers, utility poles, panels, breakers, disconnects, conduit, conductors, concrete pads and footings, mounting hardware, safety bollards, new pavement, sidewalk replacement, curbs, and landscaping. Provide Level 2 charging stations with network connectivity (networked station) capable of providing point of sale service to electric vehicle motorists, optional multiple charging ports and optional retractable cord(s). The networked station manufacturer must have an online reporting platform with multiple user account accessibility and associated energy and dollar tracking capability. Adjustable charging rate (cost) is preferred but is not mandatory. Provide Level 2 charging stations with network connectivity optional to be installed specifically for charging State Fleet vehicles. Provide Level 3 (DC fast charging) charging station options.
