Specifications include, but are not limited to: The individual students may have the following conditions: blind/low vision, deaf/hard of hearing, multiple disabilities with a visual or hearing loss, tracheostomy with or without oxygen, G-tube or G-J tube, may also include ileostomy, and insulin-dependent diabetes management, or other disabilities that will be detailed when services are requested. The nurse must provide his/her vehicle in which to travel to the student's home, a designated pickup or drop-off point, or any other agreed upon location. Parking in a location convenient to the student’s home is the responsibility of the nurse. Parking is not provided nor paid for by the state. The state will not reimburse parking tickets. Nurses are required to provide proof of auto insurance upon request. The nurse shall meet at the student's home or designated location at the assigned time, and ride with the student to school on the transportation provided by the school. The nurse will be responsible for checking the equipment and supplies before departure to ensure that all provisions are available for the students’ needs during the day.
