Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Project management support and design lead. • Project coordination with stakeholders including the UDOT, Navajo Nation Local Chapter, Navajo Nation, Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Juan County, FHWA, and others • Consultant team to consist of individuals with experience in delivering similar types and sizes of projects. • Consultant Project Manager must have UDOT project delivery experience. • Survey and base mapping for topography and modeling. • Roadway design and modeling including all necessary safety elements: Signing, Striping, Barrier and misc safety elements. Includes coordinating with Region 4 Design Oversight, Traffic and Safety and other Region Team members. • Right of Way Design and coordination with Central and Region ROW. Includes supporting Region and Complex ROW staff through acquisition and clearance with the Navajo Nation, Navajo Nation Local Chapter, Navajo DOT, Navajo Nation Land and Realty Dept., Bureau of Indian Affairs etc. • Drainage design with oversight and coordination provided by UDOT hydraulics division. • Utility/ATMS design and sub surface utility engineering and investigations including all UT or ATMS Sheets • Geotechnical investigations to support the replacement of the McElmo structure. • Hydraulic analysis of McElmo Creek to support the structure replacement. • Evaluation of structure preservation needs for Structure Nos. C-319 and C-440. • Complete geotechnical investigation and design with oversight and coordination by UDOT Geotechnical Division. • Complete GIS maps of project design, impacts, etc. Coordinate with Region GIS and transfer design graphics or maps to UPLAN. GIS will be used to aid in communication with all parties. • Complete QC/QA process and provide QC/QA documents as required in the UDOT design process. • Provide all relevant design and project files in ProjectWise or ProjectWise Connect. • Solve problems and innovate in design approach to deliver the full project scope under budget and on schedule.
