Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Worksite preparation levels will depend on the size of the surface requiring work, type of hazard control methods to be used, extent of existing contamination, building layout, and level of worker protection needed. 2. After project completion, a visual inspection and lead dust clearance test will be performed by a Consultant under contract with the County. 3. Upon obtaining a clear and safe report that the housing unit has passed clearance testing, the household members will be allowed to move back into the property. 4. The Consultant (under contract with County) will conduct a final visual inspection and lead dust clearance testing. Clearance testing will be performed in accordance with HUD and EPA regulations and guidelines. 5. Properties must pass lead dust clearance standards of 10ug/ft2 for floors, 100ug/ft2 for windowsills, and 400 ug/ft2 for window wells. Soil will be cleared at 1200 ppm for bare soil, and 400 ppm in play areas. 6. All lead dust samples collected by Consultant will be analyzed by National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP) approved laboratories.
