Specifications include, but are not limited to: A web-based Reading Universal Screener and Progress Monitoring Solution that will bolster our multi-tiered system of support, including our Tier II and Tier III reading intervention programs, in grades 7-12. The district’s goal in this evaluation process is to provide our schools with a software application to administer a universal screener for all incoming grade 7 and grade 10 students and to support tiered, evidenced-based instruction for all grade 7-12 students who are at risk for falling below grade-level expectations. Moreover, we aim to provide all district administrators, educators, and students with access to achievement data that will inform personalized learning experiences and afford students with opportunities to evaluate their progress toward mastery of their personal goals and standardized competencies.
