Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Concessionaire shall provide, operate, and maintain the required concession services as well as any related support facilities and services in accordance with this RFP and any resulting contract to such an extent and in a manner considered satisfactory by the Division. These services represent the minimum requirements the Concessionaire is required to provide. Except for any such items that may be provided to the Concessionaire by the Division, the Concessionaire shall provide the personnel, equipment, goods, and commodities necessary for providing, operating, and maintaining the required concession services in accordance with this RFP and the resulting contract. Any services Concessionaire or the Division wish to include in the contract beyond those listed here must be added to the contract through amendment. INFLATABLE AQUA PARK. Provide a floating, inflatable aqua park and obstacle course within the Concession Service Area. Concessionaire must follow all safety requirements for this type of activity, including the following: Installation - Concessionaire shall follow all manufacturer recommendations for proper and safe installation of the water park, including proper anchoring, attachments, recommended water depths, etc. Boating Hazard - Concessionaire shall install adequate buoy markers and signage to warn of boating hazards. Perimeter buoys shall include readable wording of restricted access to all vessels and non-paying patrons. Perimeter buoy boundaries and the water park structure should contain sufficient reflectivity to warn of the night time boating hazard. Capacity - Concessionaire shall limit the occupancy capacity of the water park to the manufacturer’s recommendation. Life Guards - Concessionaire shall have certified, properly equipped and CPR trained lifeguards on duty at all times the water park is open for use. Proper lifeguard to participant ratios must be maintained at all times. Lifeguards must possess rescue flotation aides. In addition, a vessel (stand up paddle board or kayak) must be readily available to assist concession employees in rescue and/or transport of participants during hours of operation. Life Jackets - Concessionaire shall require all participants to wear properly fitting lifejackets. Each life jacket must be U.S. Coast Guard approved and maintained in good and serviceable condition. Concessionaire must ensure proper fit of all participant lifejackets whether or not they are provided by the Concessionaire. Signage - Adequate signage will be posted to inform park visitors of water park business name, reservation or fee info, hours of operation, personal flotation device requirements, and restricted use when not in operation. Signage should be posted near beach access points and on the structure when not in operation. Throwable Rescue Aides - The Concessionaire must provide a minimum of two U.S. Coast Guard approved throwable rescue aides stations to be posted in at least two beach access locations to public use in case of emergency during or after hours of operation.
