Specifications include, but are not limited to: Submit a general audit work plan and schedule that demonstrates an annual time-line for the various audits of Funds and set times for completion, draft and revision to show a fully integrated timeline that meets the various deadlines that the City is expected to comply with to complete the City CAFR for submission to the GFOA. The audit work plan should demonstrate the offeror's understanding of the audit requirements and the audit tests and procedures to be applied in completing the audit plan, including but not limited to; Any unique requirements for the Airports Fund, Water Fund, Sewer Fund, Stormwater Fund, Street Lighting Fund, Public Library, the Redevelopment Agency, and the DEA Task Force. A tentative time schedule for completing the audit and detail the expected number and type of audit personnel to be assigned to the project and the number of audit hours by staff level. See due dates in Exhibit “A” (Scope of Work) of the attached Sample Agreement. The City may consider failure to meet due dates as cause for canceling the contract for future audits If you intend to require the City to sign an annual engagement letter prior to each annual audit, furnish a copy of the standard engagement letter that you would like to use. Please note that the City may require some modifications before the parties mutually agree upon the final form. If you do not intend to require an engagement letter, include a statement to that effect. Identify the major risks associated with this project. For each risk, identify those activities which can be undertaken to reduce, mitigate or eliminate the risk. Identify the associated responsibilities. Ensure that these activities are reflected in your project and management plans.
