Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design and installation a variety of in-stream structures so the stream function, geomorphic and hydrologic responses from the structures can be assessed to determine their contribution and capacity to improving trout habitat, raising incised stream beds and water table, increasing in-stream habitat complexity and improving riparian vegetation. The design does not need to provide CAD drawings for each structure, but should show where the structures are intended to be placed, what existing local feature(s) they are exploiting, what is the basic design intent of structures and provide standard construction details for different structure types. The design will specify what is to be constructed where and roughly how.
