Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) project includes: Davis Campus Computer and Automotive Engineering Building: Build a new 45,000 GSF building at the Davis Campus to house the Automotive Technology department in its entirety, and expanded space for the School of Computing. The project will achieve LEED rating as well as adhere to the State of Utah High Performance Building Standard The building is to engage students by celebrating and putting engineering on display. The building is to provide a home for automotive students and faculty. The building is to provide a satellite home for half of the School of Computing students and faculty. The building design should include spaces and opportunities for students to study gather and socialize, both within their department areas and collaboratively where possible. All faculty offices are to have exterior windows. Provide on grade vehicular access to the Auto Shop bays. Provide on-site locked automotive storage.
