Specifications include, but are not limited to: Package 18-03: Little Cottonwood Conduit 36-inch Return Pipeline and Pump System Analysis The 36-inch diameter Little Cottonwood Conduit Return (LCC-R) is a reinforced concrete pipe that conveys treated water from the Little Cottonwood Water Treatment Plant approximately 700 feet into Salt Lake City’s Little Cottonwood Conduit. System hydraulics requires pumping. The system began operation in the early 1960s. Design professional services are desired to assist District staff to analyze the condition, capacity (current and future), and deficiencies within the LCC-R system. Package 19-01: General Engineering Services may include studies, designs, bid preparation and reports for projects requiring one or more of the following disciplines: Civil: architecture, civil site work, construction management and inspection, drafting, drainage, erosion mitigation, landscape architecture, road design and construction, value engineering, water rights. Corrosion Control and Coatings. Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Hydraulic: pipelines (large and small diameter), hydraulic structures, storage reservoirs. Information and Communication: process controls; SCADA/telemetry systems. Instrumentation and Electrical: electrical engineering and design, power monitoring, telemetry, metering. Mechanical: boilers; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); liquid oxygen tank refurbishment; pumps; pressure vessels; valves. Process: chemical feed and safety systems (e.g. chlorine scrubber), pump stations, solids handling, water treatment design and processes, water quality studies. Structural: concrete structures, seismic evaluation and design.
