Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Salt Lake is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide direct purchase uniforms, rental and cleaning services of uniforms for Department of Airports. 1. Contractor shall provide new uniforms for the Airport that adhere to or exceed the minimum specifications set forth in Exhibit "C", Uniform Specifications, attached hereto. New uniforms shall be delivered within thirty (30) days, or at a schedule mutually agreed to, after execution of this Agreement. Currently it is expected that the only work groups that shall rent uniforms will be Fleet Maintenance and the employees in the Glycol reclamation plant and that the services will be limited to providing coveralls, laundry service, pick up and delivery. At any time during the life of the Agreement the Airport may decide to add other work groups and other uniform selections to the rental uniform option. 2. Contractor shall measure and provide newly hired employees' with uniforms, or replacement uniforms for current employees, within seven (7) working days after notification, throughout the duration of the Agreement. Scheduled fittings with work groups shall take place at the Airport. Fittings for newly hired employees shall be at Contractor’s place of business. Contractor shall properly measure and fit each type garment to the individual employee and provide alterations if necessary. Contractor shall work directly with each employee to take his/her order. 3. Contractor shall maintain uniforms that consistently meet the professional standards of the “Airport Image” as determined by City designee and specified in Exhibit "C". This shall include, but not be limited to, furnishing clean, mended, and pressed garments that meet the established Airport Image level of professionalism, and that adhere to Exhibit “D”, Laundry and Equipment Requirements, attached hereto.
