Specifications include, but are not limited to: The PROJECT will consist of the construction of drinking water pipelines to replace existing aging pipe in several different locations throughout the City. Also included in the project is the construction of a new storm drain pipeline. The Maxfield Subdivision area (which includes 9775 South, 1650 West, and 1600 West) consists of 2,070 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC. The area of Horseshoe Circle consists of 2,438 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC. The area of Bonanza (which includes Bonanza Way, Bonanza Court, and Bonanza Circle) consists of 2,650 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC. Also associated with Horseshoe Circle and Bonanza Way is about 2,255 feet of 18-inch diameter RCP storm drain pipe, including new manholes and inlet boxes. The area of 2200 West consists of 9,500 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC and the crossing of the Utah and Salt Lake Canal which involves a directional drill using a 10-inch diameter HDPE pipe within a 20-inch diameter HDPE casing. All of the project areas also include replacing copper and galvanized water service lines with poly-pipe, furnishing and installing fittings, fire hydrants, connection materials, and miscellaneous appurtenances.
