Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is planning to replace the Pioneer Wastewater Pump Station (Pioneer WWPS or pump station) installed in 1968 and located at 2250 South Constitution Boulevard in West Valley City, Utah. The existing pump station is comprised of a 500 gpm duplex buried prefabricated steel dry well with a precast reinforced concrete wet well. It is anticipated that the new pump station will be a prefabricated steel dry well and precast reinforced polymer concrete wet well. In 2018, the District retained the services of Bowen Collins & Associates to perform a site selection study to recommend a suitable site on which to locate the replacement pump station. The District has now acquired property to build this new pump station at 2184 South Constitution Boulevard, West Valley City. The new pump station shall also be called the Pioneer Wastewater Pump Station. The District requires design phase engineering services to design the new pump station and prepare the bidding documents for the project. A successful Consultant shall have expertise in wastewater pump station design of this nature. The District will select the best-qualified Consultant for the project based on qualifications and experience.
