Specifications include, but are not limited to: Treatment of noxious weeds, including musk thistle, Canada thistle, Scotch thistle, white top, jointed goat grass and yellow star thistle along Tickville and Range Road at Camp Williams, UT. The noxious weed mapping project has identified areas of dense noxious weed infestation along rights-of-way. Studies have shown that roads contribute more to the distribution of noxious weeds than certain habitat treatments and that the mitigation of noxious weed dispersal by motor vehicles should made a priority (Birdsall et al, 2012). This project will focus on treating infestations of noxious weeds at one of the busiest intersections at Range and Tickville Road about 30 minutes west of the Camp Williams cantonment area.
