Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lindon City is soliciting proposals for professional planning consultant services toupdate the existing Lindon Parks, Trails and Recreation Master Plan (PTRMP), which includes an Impact Fee Facility Plan (IFFP) as per Utah Code Title 11 Chapter 36a. The current Master plan is dated March 18, 2008. The existing plan is 11 years old and needs updating to account for improvements that have occurred since 2008 as well as to plan for future parks, trails, and recreation needs and goals through the planning horizon year of 2030. Task 1: Review Existing PTRMP and Identify Needed Updates The selected consultant will be required to review the existing 2008 PTRMP and identify areas that need to be updated. Recommended updates will be coordinated and approved by City staff prior to executing the updates. Task 2: Inventory and Evaluation of Existing and Proposed Facilities Conduct an inventory of existing park and trails facilities in written and mapped format. Analyze all inventory data, including the preparation of relevant maps, charts and matrixes. Assess the adequacy of existing facilities for meeting current and projected needs. Establish a standardized definition for each type of park or trail. Specific recreation facilities located at or associated with each park and trail shall be documented and analyzed. Task 3: Needs Assessment and Analysis Establish and analyze existing and future needs, including the establishment of levels of service, distribution and other analyses. The selected consultant will work closely with City staff to identify the following: • Proposed improvements to existing park, trails, and recreation facilities • Identify proposed park, trails, and recreational facilities. This includes identifying potential locations and parcels of land for acquisition.
