Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project manager/facilitator will: Conduct Meetings Coordinate with a designated employee of Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands to: Select and reserve meeting location space Ensure meeting notices are issued in a timely fashion and any requirements for public notice have been met Develop meeting agendas in consultation with Steering Group members Facilitate meetings and discussion with an aim toward full participation and achieving goals of Steering Group It is anticipated there will be at least eight (8) Steering Group monthly meetings lasting approximately 1 to 2 hours each. The proposed schedule begins April 2, 2020 with the goal of meeting on the first Thursday of every month from 3:30-5:00 pm There is a potential for at least 1 to 2 meetings to run at least 4 hour meeting Ensure that the collaborative process is efficient, resulting in effective and widely supported strategies for addressing the “issues of mutual concern” that the Steering Group is trying to address Prepare meeting notes (note-taking and meeting summaries) and distribute in accordance with the direction of the Steering Group Assist in finalizing draft Terms of Reference or Charter for the Steering Group as may be directed Organize or assist in organizing (including logistics) one to three optional subject matter briefings on key research concerning Great Salt Lake and its wetlands, such as work commissioned by Great Salt Lake Advisory Council (e.g., reports on Consequences of Drying Lakes Around the World; Assessment of Potential Costs of Declining Water Levels at Great Salt Lake; Great Salt Lake Integrated Model Scenarios; Water Strategies for Great Salt Lake (when available) and others). Ideally, these will be recorded to be made available for Steering Group members or others to watch at their convenience. Aim is to organize and hold at least one such event prior to April 2, 2020.
