Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide Trucking and Hauling Services of the District’s Biosolids. Work includes hauling Unclassified Biosolids to the Wasatch Regional Landfill. The Contractor shall be responsible for all hauling risks; including but not limited to overlimit, spills, etc. The Timpanogos Special Service District Waste Certification is available upon request. Proper documentation such as a Manifest, shall accompany each load and comply with each landfill site regulations. The Scope of Work for the services shall consist, at a minimum, of the following: TASK 1 – Biosolids Hauling to Wasatch Regional Landfill Task 1.1 Haul Quantity The quantity to be hauled to Wasatch Regional Landfill shall be with no less than 11,440 tons per year with the target of 300 tons/week, hauling Monday thru Friday. The Contractor will need to be capable of hauling up to 90 tons per day to Wasatch Regional, Monday thru Friday. On 01 November 2020, the Contractor will need to increase their hauling capability to no less than 14,040 tons per year with the target of 450 tons/week, hauling Monday thru Friday. The Contractor will need to be capable of hauling up to 120 tons per day to Wasatch Regional, Monday thru Friday. The Biosolids are approximately 14.5% dry solids by weight and a unit weight of approximately 1,300 pounds per cubic yard. Task 1.2 Haul Distance The distance from the TSSD Water Reclamation Facility to Wasatch Regional Landfill and back to the TSSD WRF is approximately 180 miles roundtrip. Bid Schedule quantities will be based on 180 miles roundtrip. Task 1.3 Days and Hours of Operation The Days and Hours of the TSSD WRF biosolid truck filling operation is Monday thru Friday, 4:00AM to 3:30PM. TSSD can currently fill the trucks at the approximate rate of 12 tons/hour and by January 1, 2020 will be able to fill trucks at the approximate rate of 16 tons/hour.
