Specifications include, but are not limited to: The network nodes should have a maximum speed which matches the interface but be configurable on-the-fly by the customer. Lower speeds should result in cost savings, and the cost for speeds for 1 Gb interfaces must be shown at no fewer than 10 levels, from 100 Mb to 1 Gb. The 10 Gb nodes must be priced in 1 Gb increments cost savings must be shown in the proposal. The proposed WAN should present as a layer 2, any-to-any network. Each of our two data centers will have fixed 10 Gb Ethernet with MM fiber handoff Each of our seven main college campuses will have a 1 Gb Ethernet MM handoff As indicated, the remaining sites will have either 1 Gb or 10 Gb interface (MM fiber) handoff as shown in Table One. Five sites are identified to be initially provisioned at 100 Mb. Sites must be provisioned with on-the-fly, customer-configurable bandwidth up to the interface speed.
