Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The ability to adjudicate (real-time or retroactively) retail pharmacy claims electronically to commercial, Medicare and Medicaid. 2. The ability to receive data claims electronically from Harris Health System’s existing patient accounts system (EPIC Willow) following the Harris Health System provided consistent and readable file. 3. The ability to generate claim reconciliation files in the format specified by Harris Health System in order to reconcile EPIC Willow with the claims submission system. 4. The system will be a web-based system that is compatible to the existing Harris Health System infrastructure. 5. The ability to submit claims in the approved National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant format. 6. The ability to retrieve real-time claim status responses from the payers. 7. The ability to program system modifications in order to comply with billing requirements and create custom claim edits as requested by Harris Health System. 8. The ability to generate twenty-four (24) to seventy-two (72) hour turn around on all edits requests (updates, inactivates, and/or additions).
