Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Dallas is requesting competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms to acquire and administer Voluntary Benefits products to employees; effective January 1, 2018 for a 3-year contract with two one-year renewal options. The selected Firm will be responsible for providing a voluntary employee benefit package that is comprehensive and offers a full range of benefits products that will allow employees to custom-tailor the benefit package to their individual needs. The vendor selected will also be required to include a benefits administration platform, year-round, for all employees at no additional cost to the City. This platform can be through a third party or proprietary solution; however, the solution must be streamlined for the City in order to have as few points of contact as possible. It is the intent of the City to consolidate benefits with a few carriers as possible in order to simplify administration.
