Specifications include, but are not limited to: Community-Based Organization (CBO): As defined by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), 29 United States Code (U.S.C.) § 3102(10), CBO means a private non-profit organization (which may include a faith-based organization), that is representative of a community or a significant segment of a community and that has demonstrated expertise and effectiveness in the field of workforce development. For the purpose of this RFA, CBO includes a neighborhood group or organization, community action agency, community development corporation, union-related organization, employer-related organization, faith-based organization, federally-recognized tribal government, or organization serving Native Americans. Computing Device: Machines used to acquire, store, analyze, process, and publish data and other information electronically, including accessories (or ‘‘peripherals’’) for printing, transmitting and receiving, or storing electronic information as defined in 2 C.F.R. § 200.20. Examples include, but are not limited to desktops, laptops, all-in-ones, tablets, and 2-in-1s. A Computing Device that meets the definition of Equipment is Equipment. Equipment: Tangible, personal property (including information technology systems) having a useful life of more than one (1) year, and a per unit acquisition cost of five thousand dollars ($5,000) or more. Acquisition cost means the net invoice unit price of the property, including the cost of modifications, attachments, accessories, or auxiliary apparatus necessary to make the property usable for its intended purpose.
