Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Coppell receives calls from homeowners regarding trees that have fallen in the creek several times of year. The way this contract would work is when a homeowner calls the City for a fallen tree, we would then call the contractor to remove the tree or debris on a per occasion basis. Some trees may be 60” diameter or greater so the use of heavy machinery may be needed. The work can include cutting, removing, clearing, hauling off, grinding, chipping of fallen trees in the creek and trash and debris removal. It will require entering the creeks and the use of a boat may be needed. There may also be times when it could be an emergency and we expect the contractor to respond within 24 hours to have the tree/debris removed. Access to the creeks will be through private property, coordination and communication with property owners is required. The creeks in Coppell that would be affected are, Denton Creek, Grapevine Creek and Cottonwood Creek. Along Denton Creek, access through the Dallas Gun Club is possible
