Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1. Program Development and Policy Review. The consultant shall support the development and revision of new and existing safety initiatives, policies and procedures; and provide subject matter expertise of current industry standards and best practices. 1.2. Staff Training. The consultant shall support the development and administration of safety training and continuous education for staff, training and monitoring of general contractors and other contract personnel; develop and deliver training modules for safety processes and procedures; and provide other training services as deemed necessary by METRO personnel. 1.3. Fire and Life Safety Engineering The consultant shall provide competent staff in support of the Authority’s fire and life safety needs who possess a working knowledge of building and fire code requirements, standards, and regulations; has a working knowledge of building construction; sufficiently trained to assess hazards and make recommendations for mitigation; develop safety bulletins and plans.
