Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Chicken Slider Sandwich: to be approximately 3 oz. total weight consisting of breaded, fried or baked, white meat, chicken breast filet on whole grain slider bun. Sandwich must meet 1 m/ma and 1 grain. 2.Sandwich bun: fresh, approximately 3”, sliced; whole wheat as first ingredient, no condiments added, all sandwiches shall be assembled and individually foil-wrapped. 3.Nutrition Profile – to comply USDA Smart Snack regulations; containing < 350 calories, < 480 mg sodium, < 35% calories from fat, < 10% calories from saturated fat, zero grams trans-fat, < 35% weight from total sugars in foods. 4.MISD reserves the right to adjust Nutrition Profile based on changes in USDA Smart Snack regulations. 5.Nutrition Fact Labels, Ingredients and Food Allergen content are required to be submitted with proposal. Nutritional facts should be clear, concise, and typed neatly. 6.Marketing materials shall be available upon request at no additional charge to the district.
