Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this bid is to establish a contract for the building of new judge’s benches, witness stands, court reporters desk, baliff’s desks, lawyer’s tables, cover the gallery partitions, and build a jury partition in each courtroom, 5 in total (104th, 326th, 350th on the 4th Floor and County Court at Law #1 and #2 on the 5th Floor) located in the Courthouse. COURTROOMS: The winning bidder will work in tandem with the Taylor County Construction Crew to schedule the remodel of each Courtroom one at a time. The County will be responsible for demolition and removal of existing benches and tables. The County Construction Crew will coordinate electrical, data, flooring, and painting contractors with the winning bidder. • All Courtrooms will need to match the newly remodeled 42nd District Courtroom. • Each Courtroom will need to be finished in a two and a half week timeframe. • Use ¾“ thick oak wood for raised panels, trim, and walls of the structures. • Routing of the edges of any sharp showing corners.
