Specifications include, but are not limited to: Print-based program reading instructional materials/programs for students in grades 61h — 1 21h for students reading below grade level at the six (6) middle schools, Brewster, four (4) high schools and the Edinburg Alternative Center. • Includes assessment screening to determine if the intervention is needed, and specific placement tests for different entry points. Assessment is aligned with learning objectives. Pre-Assessment is included to appropriately place students. Post-Assessment is included at the end of the year and measures growth effectively. • Monitors student’s progress including time on task and constantly graphs progress. Teacher reports are comprehensive by individual student and groups of students. • Program must be aligned to Texas Essential Knowledge Skills (TEKS) and the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS)
