Specifications include, but are not limited to:Harris County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Project P25 (P25) dispatch consoles for use on the Project 25 “TXWARN” radio system for the period beginning on or about January 1, 2018 and ending twelve (12) months thereafter. Sixteen (16) complete cable runs will be required for the first floor and sixteen (16) cable runs will be required for the second floor of 101 East Aldine Amphitheatre Drive. The coaxial cable inside the building shall be ½” plenum rated cable and shall terminate to an antenna-lightening suppressor. The coaxial cable outside the building shall be ½” outdoor cable and shall terminate to a PCTEL MFBW7463 antenna. The exact coaxial cable lengths and locations are marked on attachment k., Desk Top Cable Requirements and Locations. Console and complete console verbiage is utilized to distinguish between units that are single unit purchase or purchase that includes unit and complete installation. Please make sure to separate cabling and price by the foot; interior and outdoor cabling may and will be combed for pricing purposes. An enterprise license will be required for the sixteen (16) new consoles; Harris County prefers to incorporate the original nine (9) units into the enterprise license if possible. If it is not possible to include the existing nine (9) units in to the enterprise license, please provide an explanation. The preferred, but not limited to, general requirements for the products and services within this RFP are as follows: 1. Overview 1.1. Proposed consoles must comply with the Project 25 Console Subsystem Interface (CSSI) or Inter Subsystem Interface (ISSI) standards for connecting to the P25 radio network. 1.2. Proposed consoles shall be scalable, from a single operator position system, to twenty (20) or more operator position systems. 1.3. Proposed consoles shall be capable of connecting to conventional base stations or repeaters. 1.4. Proposed consoles shall support interfacing to IP audio logging recorders. 1.5. Proposed consoles shall provide auxiliary input/output capability for controlling and monitoring external devices. 1.6. Costs must be broken down for initial implementation and annual costs thereafter.
